Pose of the Day
Wide-Angle Seated Fold (Upavistha Konasana)
Try it for: 8 breaths
Wide-Angle Seated Fold for a few breaths. Spread legs comfortably. Hinge forward with a long spine—don’t dump into low back. Play with it (no pressure). If it feels good: Walk hands forward and fold deeper.
- Make it easier: Sit on a blanket and keep hands behind you.
- Make it stronger: Walk hands forward and fold deeper.
- Props: Blanket
Listen to your body. If anything hurts (sharp pain, pinching, numbness), back off or skip it. If you're working with an injury or are pregnant, check with a qualified professional.
